I have always had a keen interest in animals and wildlife with a special interest in birds. Cats were part of my childhood but it was not until later in life I was able to own dogs. After studying music, the cello being my instrument, I had a career break, working in a bank and the Civil Service. I returned to music, being a peripatetic teacher in schools as well as a freelance orchestral player and running my own business. For the last 25 years I have owned dogs and have become increasingly aware of welfare and security issues and am proud to be associated with Dog Theft Action.
