Karen is the proud owner of two Shetland Sheepdogs and has been involved with missing & stolen dogs for a few years, taking a break for a little while due to family commitments she is now ready to commit her time to DTA and the work that we do.
Karen’s passion and love for dogs has opened her eyes to the trauma of what the owners go through and more importantly what the dog goes through when separated from the family they love and trust. She says “It is so important to raise awareness of the dangers that we as dog owners/lovers sadly face today. We should as responsible dog owners get our dogs micro chipped to help them be reunited should they go missing, making sure records are up to date to protect our four legged family member. I am happy to be a part of DTA promote their aims in keeping our dogs safe”
